Printed May 2025, Ongoing performance

Offset print with three layers

11x17in (27x42cm) Folded: 2x1x1in (5x2.5x2.5cm)

Pigeons made from three-layer offset prints using a Heidelberg press were left around Chicago’s public transit system during my daily commute. This project served as a love letter to a transit system currently facing defunding.

Inspired by the pigeons that gather under the heat lamps of subway stops during Chicago’s harsh winters, I created this performance piece to remind people of the vital role public transportation plays in our city. It also acts as a call to action to protest the looming service cuts planned for 2026. Created infographic social media post on Instagram in collaboration with activist group Car Free Chicago.
